Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 26, 2026

1. Purpose

BadShadow is an app designed for badminton shadow training. This policy explains what data may be used by the app, why it is used and how it is protected.

2. Data used by BadShadow

Depending on the features enabled, BadShadow may use:

3. Apple Health / HealthKit

When Apple Watch is used, BadShadow may save a Badminton workout to Apple Health / HealthKit. Access to Health data is controlled by Apple permissions.

Users can change or revoke these permissions at any time from the Health and Privacy settings on their Apple devices.

4. Storage and transfer

BadShadow data is stored locally on the user’s devices. Information required for operation between Apple Watch, iPhone and iPad is transferred directly between those devices.

BadShadow does not use user accounts, remote servers to store training sessions, advertising, third-party analytics tools, or telemetry automatically sent to the developer.

5. Sharing with third parties

BadShadow does not sell users’ personal data. Health, motion and training data is not shared with advertisers, data brokers or marketing services.

6. Diagnostic files

BadShadow can generate a diagnostic file to help identify technical issues. This file is sent to the developer only if the user explicitly chooses to share it. No diagnostic data is sent automatically.

7. Retention and deletion

Locally stored data remains on the device until it is deleted by the user or until the application is removed, depending on the type of data.

Data saved in Apple Health is managed separately by Apple Health and can be deleted from the Health app.

8. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated if BadShadow features change. The “Last updated” date shown on this page will be revised accordingly.
